Q: WHAT STYLE OF MUSIC DO YOU PLAY?

A: Session play a variety of musical styles including pop from the 50's up to the present day, as well as rock, funk, party classics and ballads.

Q: HOW LONG DO YOU PLAY FOR?

A: Session offer packages that are tailored for every occasion and budget. Our Silver Package is structured into 1 x 45 mins and 1 x 60 mins live sets, our Gold Package into 2 x 1 hour sets and our Platinum Package into 1 x 30 mins, 2 x 1 hour long sets. Additional playing time can be added to all packages.

Q: WHAT PACKAGES ARE AVAILABLE?

A: We currently offer four different packages, all with many optional extras. Please check out the package section of the website for more information.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE BAND TAKES A BREAK?

A: If you have booked the disco option with your package then the disco music will play before the band begin, during the interval, and after the band’s performance. Session’s library of music is extensive and covers all genres of music. A fantastic live DJ option is also now available to compare your wedding or event should you require. Background music can also be provided by the venue, or via a CD provided by the client in prior to the performance.

Q: DO YOU PLAY AT MANY WEDDINGS?

A: Yes! Weddings make up the majority of our yearly bookings. As a result, we are very experienced in this field, and are happy to offer you advice on any aspect of your evening entertainment. Numerous references from happy couples are available upon request.

Q: HOW DOES THE BAND DRESS FOR A WEDDING RECEPTION?

A: A: The men in the band wear formal trousers and shirts throughout the evening. Although matching suits can also be worn if this is your wish! Ceri wears formal evening dress throughout.

Q: IS IT POSSIBLE TO VIEW THE BAND BEFORE BOOKING?

A: Yes! We encourage potential clients to come to our public performances when possible. Please contact us or see our gig guide to find out when and where our next public performance is. Please note, due to our busy schedule, at peak times it may not be possible for the band to book public performances.

Q: WHAT TIME WILL THE BAND ARRIVE PRIOR TO A FUNCTION?

A: The band will arrive at the venue no later than 120 minutes before the performance is due to begin.

This allows time to set up our equipment, carry out a sound check and, of course, speak to you or the event co-ordinator. *N.B. Platinum package can take up to 180 minutes to set up, depending on the access to the room.

Q: I AM WORRIED THE BAND WILL BE TO LOUD

A: Rest assured! The sound engineer and band monitor the volume throughout the course of the evening to ensure that it does not constrain the atmosphere. We are happy to reduce the volume if you or your guests are uncomfortable with the level.

Q: HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?

A: We are competitively priced, with the charge varying depending on package, location and length of performance time. If you would like a quote, simply contact the band with details of your requirements.

We are all experienced and professionally-minded musicians who love what we do, and who love making your wedding or function just that little bit more special. By all means shop around and compare prices, but remember that what you really need to compare is how the bands sound, how they perform and how they ensure that your entertainment is one of the high points of your day. You can only do that by coming to see us play and we strongly encourage you to do that. It is no coincidence (and no exaggeration!) that almost all of the people who come to hear and see us play, make a booking there and then.

Q: MY VENUE REQUIRES A COPY OF YOUR PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE CERTIFICATE

A: We have £5,000,000 public liability insurance with Assure.co.uk. Copies of the certificate can be emailed to the venue in PDF format. We also carry a copy with us to all gigs, just incase.

Q: DO YOU OFFER ANY OTHER SERVICES?

A: Session offer a range of optional extras to all of our packages. Please scroll to the bottom of our Packages page to see the current extras we are able to offer.

Q: OK I’M READY TO BOOK, WHAT NEXT?

A: Great! Email us or call Cameron on 078 5062 7070. Once we have confirmed your date we will send out two copies of the contract.

The contract is a standard performance agreement designed to protect both parties. Using the inclosed S.A.E. sign the contracts and send one back to us with the 30% deposit. We accept cheque, cash, bank to bank transfer and Paypal (3% surcharge on Paypal transfers).

Thats it! We recommend going through our song list and letting us know if there are any songs you really want us to play, or, if there are any you really don’t want! (We recommend 5 “must-do’s” and 5 “must not’s”!)

The remaining balance is payable on or before the night.
